Tips for buying a property

Buying a home is an important project. It is therefore advisable to choose a real estate professional specializing in the desired sector to build and realize this project more quickly.

The real estate professional, a specialist in his sector and the current prices of the local market, will show you properties and will above all be the ideal intermediary to buy a property at the market price. He will also make sure of the conformity with the regulations (certificates and compulsory diagnostics...), the regularity of the property titles, the possible easements... You can also ask the real estate agency for advice on the financial arrangements for the project.

The compromise of sale commits the seller to sell his property to a buyer by specifying the conditions of the sale. The signature of the compromise commits you to buy the property. At this stage, you will have to pay a deposit (security deposit).
Damages will have to be paid in case of non respect of this commitment by one of the two parties. You can however define certain retraction clauses.

After the signature of the compromise, it will take about 3 months during which the notary will draw up the sale file and the loan offer, if any, will be unblocked. To do this, you must contact your bank or a real estate broker who will put together the loan file.

Once all the administrative procedures have been completed, you can agree on a date for the signing of the deed of sale at the notary's office. The signature of this deed will make you officially become the owner of the property.
